I'm as Mad as Hell

Clip from 1976 movie Network

Howard Beale’s rage in the 1976 movie "Network" is directed against the heartlessness of main stream media after he is dumped from the evening news because of low rating. Viewers' obedience to Beale’s exhortation to shout out their windows is a satire on their sheeplike response to the media and the networks' avaritious quest for ratings.
